 Today,we were doing summer learning journel,this took me about 1 hour.I didn´t colour it because I dont have the colour of the clothes.

Dumping and wonton

Amy´s mum came to our class to teach us  how to make wontons and dumpings,it was easy,I made dumpings and wonton when I was 7 years old.Amy´s mum prepared filling and the wonton skin,Amy´s mum used 600 ml an 1kg flour to make a dough .We cut the dough in pieces .and we made it thiner.we put the filling in it , pinch the skin.It is easy,usually you can buy the dumpling skin in supermaket,it taste better because it is thiner. make a wonton is easy to make a dumping.you just have to put a skin on your hand,and you put your finger in a bowl of warm water, put your finger on the edge of the wonton skin, fold it.and pinch the two edges together.

 Hi,this is my passion project,it took me about 2 hours.

orchard in school

Today,we had Mery to visit our garden again .Last time she taught us how to plant the tree,me Ritchie and Bradley planted 3 trees.Today we learned some information about the tree,and measured how long did our trees grow.Mery told us when the trees are young we need to make sure that we have to cut the flower off,so the tree can grow more stronger and taller.The tree that I planted grow about 20 centimetres .Everyone ´s trees are growing really fast,except for Darion´s tree.Darion don´t grow either.They won´t have any fruits in the next two years.

My speech

 Here is my speech writing,I highlighted the important information.My speech  topic is why do we need money.

Why do we need money? Can we live without money? What will happen if we don't have money?

 In 9000-6000 B.C people used cattle to trade. The first metal objects were used as money as early as 1000 B.C.The bronze and copper were used to make coins.money made our life convenient,so we can trade goods easily,and we can hire people to do stuff.Around 700 B.C,the Lydian became the first western culture to make coins.

 Money is an item to trade stuff.Caveman didn't have money,and they could live without money.Everything can be used as money.

    Some farmers used animals as money.If we don't use money to trade stuff,money is useless. If we don't have money,we just lose our way to trade.We can use something else to trade.For example I can use an apple to trade you a pear,but it is not easy to transport and it is difficult to store.If we use money,we can sell the apple,we can just buy the pear whenever we want.

       I believe that people work for their family.Imagine if we don’t have money since we evolved from cavemen ,what if we don't  have money?What are we working for ?  Can we still get food from the supermarket?Maybe each family has their own farm to get food and everyone needs to work in the farm.

   Can we survive without money in 2020 ? I think it can be possible,but it is not easy.In 2020 you can use money to do anything,but you can not do anything without money.You need money to drink ,eat and even sleep. What would you do without money in a day?

What can you buy for 1 dollars around the world? You can buy 10  cups of tea in India.You can buy a bottle of milk in Korea.a bottle of water in Dubai.A slice of pizza in the USA. bag of apple in Russia.

  Money is something that most people are working hard for.you go to school to learn.you learn stuff  to work.and you work for money.  Some people work very hard but they are still very poor.

ski trip

 Yesterday,we went to porters ski field at 7:45 am .When we arrived there,we were putting our gears on,someone found hard to put the gear on,but I went to ski before the school ski trip,so I can put them on easily.The shoes that I put on the ski are really heavy,those shoes hurt my legs so much,and made me move clumsy.It took  about 5 minutes walk from the shop to the ski feld.The coach tech us how to stop,and how to put our ski on.I already know how to do it,so I went to the next level very early.I didn´t fall off at the first time because I ski in a striaght line.I fell over  at the second time because the coach told me  to ski like a snake.If I ski in a striaght line,I would go really fast.I would hurt someone and myself.When I try to turn,I lost my balance and I fell over .I was keep pratising.And finally I can turn comfortably.We leave there like 3 o´clock.

Tartan

This week we made tartans,some people made their family tartan ,some people just designed their own one. That took me about 4 hours to made it.and My family motto is ¨ honesty,kind¨(I make it up ,I don´t even have one).

 

fitness

We played two games on Monday.The first one was rolling the tennis ball to the hoop,the team got most ball in the hoop win,which is us.It is a accuracy activity,I not good at this game, I only score 2 balls,I threw my balls hardly,so the balls can not stay in the hoops. The second game is speed Activity,we need to placed 4 balls at the cones ,and then take it back.Each person can only place or take one ball once.These games can pratise our accuracy and speed.

 

gardening

At monday,orchad came to our school,to taught us how to plant trees ,first we need to digg hole with a shovel(you can use your hand if you want,maybe you need to take a year to finish that)😊,Methods told use to slide a hand to the bottom of the shovel,and she told me use the tree to test hole is deep enough or not,and then we work in 6 group,I in a group with bradley (that guy is lazy)-_-||and Ritchie-.-,we are the first one to plant a tree(because Methods digg a big hole to show us how to dig a hole,and then we use it) ^﹏^,we planted 3 trees and some tiny plants.

And then we moved some plant to the garden.👍
